Privacy notice

Your browser is given a random anonymous id so we can show each project a fair number of times and avoid repeating cards. It is a random string — no name, no email, no location, no advertising profile — and it never leaves your device except to count a view.

We count how often a project was shown, opened, shared or arrived at from someone's own link or badge, along with the website a visit came from. These counts are totals only; we do not build a profile of you and we do not sell or share anything for advertising.

Signing in with Google gives us your name, email address and profile picture. We use them to show who made a project, to contact you about your own projects, and to keep limits and safety rules working.

We also store what you post, the projects you love, and reports you send. Reports are never shown to the person you reported.

Data is held in our hosted database and storage. View counts that stop us double-counting the same visitor are cleared after about 90 days. Everything else is kept while your account exists.

Merrigo sets no advertising cookies and uses no third-party trackers. A few small items are saved by your browser itself: the random visit id, which projects you have already been shown this session, your light or dark preference, and whether you have dismissed the storage and install notices. Signing in adds a session token so you stay signed in.

Clearing your browser's site data for Merrigo removes all of it, and you will simply be treated as a new visitor.

Deleting your account from your own page removes your profile, your projects, your loves and your reports. Totals that cannot identify anyone (such as how many times a project was shown) may remain. If you would rather we did it for you, email simmerapp.support@gmail.com from the address you signed in with and we will action it.

You can edit or remove any project you posted, and delete your account and its data, from your own page. To ask what we hold about you or to have it erased, email simmerapp.support@gmail.com.
