Content rules
Share projects you made, or that you have permission to share. Keep the name, description, pictures and link honest, safe and suitable for a general audience.
Draft. This page is written in plain English to say what actually happens on Merrigo. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet, so the wording may change.
What you can post
Apps, tools, games, websites and experiments you built or helped build. One entry per project. Describe what it actually does in one plain sentence.
What is not allowed
- Harmful, hateful, sexual, violent, shocking or illegal content.
- Malware, scams, phishing, crypto giveaways or misleading claims.
- Links that start a file download instead of opening a page.
- Link shorteners, redirect chains or links that do not lead to the project described.
- Someone else's work posted as your own, or impersonating another maker.
- Spam: repeated posts, keyword stuffing, all-caps titles, unrelated links.
Pictures
Pictures must be yours to use and safe for everyone. Merrigo re-saves every picture you upload, checks its real file type, and checks your cover picture and every screenshot automatically before your project appears. Nothing is shown to visitors until those checks pass.
What happens if a rule is broken
Automated checks can turn a submission down with a reason so you can fix it and try again. Reports from visitors can hide a project straight away while it is reviewed. Repeated breaches lead to an account being banned and its projects hidden.
Illegal content is removed, and where the law requires it we may report it to the appropriate authorities along with the information we hold about the account that posted it.
If your project was hidden and you think that was wrong, open your Me page and send an appeal, or email simmerapp.support@gmail.com.
